Warnemünde shipyard harbour quay – worn by the times, by the boxes carried across it, and the launching champagne shed on it. These days, unlimited freedom piles up there in steel boxes. This is where no ship has been welded together but joint experience has been created. The DOCK INN Warnemünde is the gathering place for the adventures of the oceans and the attitude to life shared by globetrotters, surfers, style enthusiasts, and adventurous families.

Only a seagull’s cry away from shipyard cranes, fishing vessels, and the river, overseas containers are piled up to form a stylish hostel having as little in common with a plain bed & breakfast as a paddling pool has with the sea. Seasoned and covered with patina on their ways across the seven seas, stranded in the port of Hamburg, refurbished by dockers on the Baltic Sea, and resurrected.

The design is unique and as rough as the Baltic Sea on the doorstep and yet as pleasant as a campfire night on the beach. Bathrooms are hidden in shipping crates while the luggage is stored in lockers. The overseas containers offer plenty of space for comfortable double rooms, double containers may house spacious suites or eight-bed dorms but always give you the feeling of being in a safe harbour by the adventurous sea.
